Munchi - Moombahton Promo 2010

I don't know what it is about this genre of music that is Moombahton, but it just speaks to me. Perhaps it's my Latin heritage coursing through my veins, possessing me to try and find the best booty-shaking rhythms on the planet. It sounds like Reggaeton, but more polished and creative instead of some tacky Latin rappers talking about how they are going to get up on your sister. My younger brother, whose currently in Argentina, tells me Reggaeton is all the rage with the South American youth, but I definitely think Moombahton has a one up on it. I can't wait for the day I go down there and blow their minds with this new genre. Anyways, enough with my rant. Back to the music.

Having witnessed Diplo drop some Moombahton tracks at HARD Haunted Mansion opened my eyes to a new type of music and basically a whole new way to party. I never thought people could grind on each other with Electronic music, but boy was I wrong. Diplo dropped a few of Munchi's tracks at the beginning of his set that lit the place up! I scoured the internet looking for these pieces of dynamite, with no luck, until I found one of GlenJamn's videos' on Youtube. I then discovered that these Latin inspired tracks came from a single source, Munchi's Moombahton Promo 2010 EP. Now it is time to share this sexy music with my beloved readers.
