Let me start off by saying that I am a big fan of
Tom Deluxx so this review might be a bit biased.
Mr. Deluxx's most recent release on
Freakz Me Out was an instant buy from me mostly because of the killer remix line-up but more on that later. It comes with 2 original tracks, the title track,
Wasted, is nothing short of pure awesomeness. Although it pales in comparison to some of his older tracks like
Curse Words and
Reactivate the B-side
Careful is more reminiscent of his older tracks along with the addition of some techno stabs throughout the track. Accompanying the originals are 5 remixes from
Baxen,
Gtronic, the
Deadbots,
Gigi Barocco, and
South Central. Since writing about the remixes would take up a lot of space I'll just say that
South Central's is the best of the bunch. Do yourself a favor and have a listen to the
Baxen remix below or the pick up the entire package on Beatport right
here.

I like this album but he seems to be getting worse his older stuff was better curse words and drama queen and reactivate were really good, and run(cyberpunkers remix) are very good.
